Positive: The staff were excellent. Glory was very welcoming and pleasant and Emanuel was friendly and helpful. the gardens were lovely and the whole place was calming and very green....a great way to start our trip in Tanzania.

Negative: Nothing.

Summary: after a long travel from home to Tanzania this place was exactly where we needed to be for a night.

Positive: A relaxing and peaceful stay that allowed us to truly unwind after a safari. Our room was spacious, clean and decorated beautifully but the beautiful grounds of the hotel were what really stood out. The food was excellent. They also arranged a coffee farm trip for us which was really enjoyable. It was lovely to have a drink around the fire in the evening and watch a family of colobus and blue monkeys in the trees.

Positive: Perfect place to unwind and rest after hiking Kilimanjaro. The estate is so relaxing and tranquil, food is amazing and staff were exceptional. I had a very relaxing massage which was excellent and the free river tour guide was very knowledgable and helpful.

Negative: Nothing, it was perfect.

Positive: Overall, an excellent place to stay!

Negative: The outdoor lights near the room were a bit too bright at night and made it hard to sleep. One small downside was a staff member who reminded us to leave gratuities, which felt inappropriate—especially since the person hadn’t actually worked closely with us. Aside from that, everything else was fantastic.

Positive: Beautiful setting and rooms were tastefully decorated.

Negative: Our initial rooms had an issue with hot water. We had to make a bit of a fuss - which was a shame -but were eventually moved to upgraded rooms - after this the staff couldn't have been more attentive.
